The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed regarding the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to SRD access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely website functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place established for intervention ordeals a higher influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise SRD additional means to help the servicing of all clients and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
